Absolutely! We specialize in home computers and home networking systems, both wired and wireless. If you have a problem with your PC, either hardware or software, if you need a new desktop or notebook set up correctly to ensure maximum performance, if you have virus or networking problems, give us a call. We may be able to help you over the phone, or we will arrange for a technician to attend your home, promptly to diagnose your problems and fix them fast.

What areas does PC Home Help cover?

At the moment, Pc Home Help covers the western and southern suburbs, basically anything south of the river from Capalaba to Carole Park, and from the CBD area west to the Ipswich border. Subject to availability, we will travel further, so give us a call, we will help you if we can. In the near future, we are expanding our services to cover the Brisbane metropolitan area, and in the future, we will cover the Logan Ipswich and Pine Rivers areas.

How do I book a PC Home Help technician?  

There are THREE ways you can contact PC Home Help.

Telephone – Call us anytime between 7am and 9pm on 0419 668 761.  The phone is manned between these times, and Customer Service will talk to you about your specific problem, outline the services we provide and the associated costs, and if necessary, organize a  booking time  for a technician to come and fix your computer, promptly, and at a very reasonable cost.

SMS – Send an SMS to 0419 668 761, with you name and phone number and the keyword PCHOMEHELP. You will receive a return call within 1 hour to get your details and arrange an appointment time.

Email– If your matter is not urgent, email us with your name and phone number, and a brief description of your problem, and we will reply within 24 hours (but usually within 4 hours)

Not only do we specialize in home computer systems, we love to help people with limited knowledge of how a PC works to get the most out of their PC. Software issues such as software that won’t install properly, email setup, virus protection and removal, data backup are just some of the things the average computer user can struggle with, but these things are second nature to our technicians, they will not only fix your problem, they will explain to you in “non computer geek” language how to avoid these issues in the future.

How do I pay PC Home Help?

We accept payment by credit card, cash, direct debit and personal cheques on approval. The only up front payment required is the initial  call out, one hour diagnosis and repair fee. No further payment is required until you have approved the quotation, the repairs are completed,  and you are 100% happy with the work performed. An invoice and receipt are emailed to you for your records.

How much will PC Home Help cost me?

PC Home Help charges a flat fee for the initial consultation. This covers the technician coming to your home or office at a time convenient to you, and includes the first one hour of labour. After one hour, we charge a very reasonable hourly rate, charged in ½ hour increments, and we have a 3 hour capped labour fee. We are yet to find a PC we couldn't fix within this period, but any additional time spent on your PC is at no additional charge.*3   All our prices are clearly listed on our pricing page. Hardware and software required are additional, and are offered at very reasonable prices.

What if I have important data on my PC, can you save it?

Data loss is a major concern not only to our customers, but also to us. The safest way to avoid data loss is to back up your data REGULARLY! Most PC users either don’t back up at all, or back up so infrequently as to make the back up  virtually worthless. We can provide you with an economical backup solution (but we cant make you use it). If your computer is working, we strongly recommend you back up your data before we arrive, and we do offer backup services before commencing any work on your PC. If some or all of your data has already been lost due to hardware failure, data recovery services are available.

Yes, our technicians carry essential spare parts on board to repair your PC on the spot, but they don’t carry large supplies of hardware or software as these products are outdated so quickly, we want to offer you only the latest hardware at the most competitive prices. Let us know what equipment you need, and we will give you quote, which not only includes the hardware and or software, but also includes delivery, and installation and setup if required. PC Home Help technicians will happily give you advice on the most up to date equipment suitable for your application. We also supply, setup and install new desktop and notebook PCs at great prices, and offer full warranty on all our products. We sell only quality name brand hardware, such as Asus, Coolermaster, Geil, Pioneer, Western Digital, Samsung, Sony and many more. We DON’T sell generic low quality gear, it may save you a few dollars at purchase time, but just remember, you only get what you pay for.
